The Crop-A-Dile II/Big Bite has arrived!

Have you heard about the Big Bite? It is the second generation of the Crop-A-Dile. Not only will it set your eyelets, snaps, and grommets easily and quietly--it has a 6 inch reach! Card for Favorite Set Swap

I participated in a card swap with some other TAC Angels on the Paper Wings forum. We had to use our favorite set from the current catalog. For me, right now, that would be the Oh How set. I love the designs and the verse is wonderful.

Prego Card

We made this card at a class I did a few weeks ago. I think it will be a fun card to give to the next person that I find out is pregnant. This card has NO layers, but the cut-0ut on the front makes it fun.

Directions:

Stamp images on front of card. Punch circle and stamp "Oh Baby!" on the inside layer. I used the clear glitter pen on the butterfly and the inside of the flower on the lady's hat--this pen is great for adding just a touch of glitter here and there without any mess! I made what I call a No Bow, on the top of the card by punching a hole about 1" in from each end along the crease. Then take 16" of ribbon and insert each end from the top to the inside of the card, cross and come back up through the holes, pull snug, and trim.

Stamping on Onesies

I have been interested in stamping on onesies for a long time, but put off trying because I thought it would be difficult to get good results. Finally, I tried it and I am very happy with the results. This is a great idea for a cute, quick gift for a new baby. So easy to personalize with the baby's name. It will be one of the projects that we will do on Friday, March 14 at my Baby on Board! Class @ 7pm.

TAC Palette inks: Chartreuse and Prussian Blue

Directions:

I would suggest stamping a sample design on paper (trace outline of onesie) before you do it on the fabric. Slip a piece of cardstock inside the onesie so that the ink does not soak through to the back. Ink up your stamp well and be careful not to rock it as you are applying pressure. After I was finished with all of the stamping, I used a hair dryer for a minute to heat set the ink. I think a heat tool might get a little too hot for the fabric.

Well, here goes. This is my first attempt at blogging. I am an extremely low-tech person, but I am anxious to have a way to share information and ideas about theangelcompany--TAC for short. I signed up to be an Angel (demo) for TAC last year and can say that I haven't regretted it for a minute. The company is low-pressure, friendly, and supportive--all things that I strive to be in my business.
